DESCRIPTION:
Roskopf, Switzerland, man's pocket watch with mock pendulum, gilt plate movement with pin pallet escapement in a gun metal, hinged back and bezel, open face case and Arabic numeral, enamel dial, decorated with a black and gilt Neuchatel style clock, the mock pendulum seen through an aperture in the clock base, and flanked by two figures on a pink ground, with blued steel spade hands, 52mm, c1900.
CONDITION:
CASE: Minor scratches and wear on outer surface of case; Minor oxidation. DIAL: Filled chip at 2:00, glued chip at 6:30. HANDS: Minor oxidation. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches, small spot of staining; Winding wheel has minor spots of oxidation. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Runs for a short time and stops, needs service.
